Sunday and Monday
Weather
A cloudy start to both days, but then semi-sunny by mid-morning and brilliantly sunny by afternoon. The wind will be a moderate force 4 W’ly through daylight hours, but the nights will vary a little, strengthening to fresh force 5 on Sunday mnight and dropping to light force 3 on Monday night. As such, we can expect similar daytime maxima of around 20°C but differing overnight minima… 15-16°C on Sunday night and 14°C on Monday night. With this wind direction, Town amd Fermain will always offer the finest summer feelings.
Surf and the Water
Smooth swimming conditions on the east coast and choppy surfing conditions on the west. Sunday virtually flat and only any good for kitesurfing really. Monday 2-3 feet… messy but rideable. Tides will be low in the late mornings and high in the late afternoons (8m and 8.4m respectively).
Tuesday and Wednesday
Weather
Straight-forward sunny on Tuesday, then cloudier with the risk of a shower on Wednesday. Both days warmer than the previous, due to lighter winds. Tuesday wind will be a WSW’ly decreasning from force 3-4 in the morning to force 2 by late afternoon (max temp 21-22°C). Wednesday’s wind will be a light force 2 NNW’ly (max temp 22-23°C).
Surf and the Water
The surf will be pretty clean due to the lightness of the onshore wind, gradually dropping from 4 feet on Tuesday morning to 2 feet by Wednesday evening. Swimming conditions will be good on all coasts but especially the east on Tuesday and the south on Wednesday. Tides will be high around breakfast time and dinner time (increasing incrementally form 8.4m to 9m), then low around lunchtime.
Thursday and Friday
Weather
The unsettled end of the week, with an early spell of rain on Thursday, followed by a fresh force 5 W’ly wind and a slight threat of showers. The wind backing SW’ly on Friday but staying just as strong. A mixture of cloudy spells and sunny spells both days. 20°C and 22°C for the respective daytime maxima. 15°C for the nightly minima.
Surf and the Water
Thursday‘s surf will be 2-3 feet and very choppy. Friday’s will be a similar size but quite a lot cleaner. Both days great for windsurfing and kitesurfing. The east coast always best for swimming. Tides will be high around breakfast time and dusk (increasing incrementally form 8.8m to 9.1m). Low tide will be in the early afternoons.

It’s very uncertain, but the current outlook is a lovely one, with Saturday morning’s cloud and showers, clearing to afternoon sunshine. Then dryness and partial sunshine throughout Sunday. Very light breezes throughout… all resulting in comfortably warm maxima of around 22°C.
Surf and the Water
It’s very uncertain, but the current outlook is for super-claen 2-3 foot surf and beautifully smooth swimming conditions. Tides will be high in the mid-mornings (8.8m and 8.5m) and low in the late afetrnoons.
