Guernsey Weather Fox

Seven day Guernsey weather forecast for 27 June 2025

Friday

Weather

A moderate WSW’ly breeze will bring a cloudy and misty start, perhaps with fog causing a little hiccup in the first hour or two of airport hours. Sunny spells will develop soon though, and then we should see a much sunnier afternoon than on Thursday. Temperatures should peak around 22°C in the afternoon and then fall to about 16°C overnight.

Surf and the Water

Cleanish 2 foot waves through most of the day, improving to cleaner 3 foot waves in the evening. Excellent swimming conditions on the north and east coasts through most of the day and then all coasts in the evening. Tides will be high around 8:50am and 9pm (8.9m and 9.1m respectively). Low water will be around 3pm.

Saturday

Weather

A lighter WSW’ly breeze than on Friday, but we are once again looking at a cloudy and misty start, with the brief threat of fog at the airport. Sunshine will then increase again in afternoon, and the lighter winds might mean that temperatures nudge as high as 23°C.

Surf and the Water

Increasingly clean 3 foot surf and some excellent swimming conditions too (especially on the east coast). Tides will be high around 9:30am and 9:45pm (8.8m and 9m respectively). Low water will be around 3:50pm.

Sunday

Weather

Once again, a murky start is likely but sunshine should burn through pretty rapidly. Furthermore, the downward trend in wind will continue, such that Sunday’s NE’ly is almost indetectable. As such, that sunshine should feel even warmer the previous days (in all praishes), so we might even reach 24°C at the height of the day.

Surf and the Water

Gorgeous glassy 3 foot surf and beautiful swimming conditions on all coasts. Tides will be 8.5m high at 10:15am and then low at 4:30pm.

Next Week

Weather

Hot and sunny Monday and Tuesday, with Monday possibly even hitting 30°C, which would make it the hottest day of the year so far. Tuesday will see a wind change from a light E’ly to a light NW’ly, which will still feel amazing, but probably cap the temperature around 5 degrees lower than on Monday. Thereafter, with a mixed bag of cloud and sunshine, the daily max temperatures will be closer normal (probably between 21 and 23°C). The breeze will be a bit stronger than the previous days, but at this stage no rain is expected.

Surf and the Water

3 foot surf on Monday, then 2 foot surf Tuesday to Thursday, followed by near flatness through Friday. Conditions will be clean on Monday and Tuesday, then generally choppy thereafter. Swimming conditions will be great on all coasts Monday and Tuesday, then more confined to the south coast from Wednesday onward. Tides will generally be high towards the middle of the day, and low around dawn and dinnertime.

The next forecast update will be on Sunday evening…
