Sunday
Weather
Warm and sunny all day. The light force 2 ENE’ly breeze feeling gorgeous in the morning and early afternoon, then the light force 3 NNE’ly only feeling marginally less warm in the late afternoon and evening. The tempeature probably peaking at 23-24°C around 3pm.
Surf and the Water
Clean 3 foot surf on the west coast. One of the best mornings for a while, slightly choppier late afternoon and evening unfortunately. Swimming and paddle-boarding conditions will be gorgeous on all coasts at first and then more confined to the south coast in the late afternoon and evening. High water will be at 8:15am (8.7m), then again at 8:30pm (9.1m).
Monday to Wednesday
Weather
The slight threat of a thundery shower on Monday and Wednesday. Apart from that, we are looking at a simple story of warm hazy sunshine. Monday being the hottest, due to a force 3-4 E’ly breeze, bringing a proper continental influence. The following days bringing a much lighter but slightly more humid SW’ly. Temperatures should peak around 26°C, 24°C and 23°C respectively.
Surf and the Water
Big tides, with highs around breakfast time and late evening… ranging in height from 8.9m to 9.3m. Surfers will find clean 2 foot waves most of the time, but possibly cranking up to 4 feet for a time on Tuesday.
Thursday and Friday
Weather
The threat of showers should be gone by this time, leaving the end of the working week to be dry and sunny, with temperatures peaking at 23°C on Thursday and 25°C on Friday. Currently, the winds are expected to be light and variable both days, making all parts of the Islands feel similarly gorgeous.
Surf and the Water
The surf will probably be 1 foot and clean (but the odd 2 foot pulse is possible). Swimming conditions gorgeous all round. Those full moon tides also starting to wane (slightly), with late morning highs of 8.8m and 8.4m respectively.
The next forecast update will most likely be on Tuesday…
